The Front Section presents links of interest that are available for you to see on the web. In our imagination it is still 2003 and the idea of an aggregator of smart stuff with a concise, vaguely cynical tone is thus a novel idea.
New content is added to The Front Section on a somewhat regular basis, generally on weekdays. Generally this content is made up of items having to do with art, droning paleo-leftist jeremiads, or news that suggests that things in forgotten parts of the world are more dire than you had possibly imagined. And videos, which lighten the tone somewhat.
Some of these items are in French, and are noted as such. If you don't read French, we encourage you to learn how.
The Front Section is the work of Dan Casey, who, in theory, is an urban planner who lives and attempts to work in Philadelphia. The pretense of the third person is nonetheless maintained throughout.
Contact this person at dan (at) frontsection.net. Feel free to forward us any spare business models you may have laying around the house.
The Front Section is webbened through the tubes due to the kind graces of our dear friend Cameron Hickey. We express enormous gratitude to him for this, and also for letting us live on various couches at various points in time.
